BLACKIRON AGENCY + OTTAWA TOURISM LAUNCH SEASON 2 OF OTTAWA’S OWN

After a buzzworthy campaign launch in February of this year, Ottawa Tourism partnered with blackiron agency to launch a second round of the Ottawa’s Own video series and social media advertising campaign to showcase Ottawa as a tourist destination for millennials in the Toronto market. 

Choosing the next 6 Ottawans to feature in the second series of this campaign was truly a labour of love as we explored different industries and hidden talents that the community shared with us. We were able to see our city through different eyes and appreciate the variety of makers, artists, and entrepreneurs who are proud to call Ottawa home.

 

The second series will showcase the talents of following Ottawa residents over the next 8 weeks:

  • Briana Kim, chef-owner of Café My House
  • Brian Tong, dancer and choreographer
  • Amber Stratton, co-owner of Pure Yoga and Pure Kitchen
  • Josh McJannet, co-owner of Dominion City Brewing Company
  • Rita Carter, singer-songwriter
  • Paul Saucier, mixologist and bartender

 

A video, produced by blackiron, introducing the six locals profiled is available on the Ottawa’s Own website. Videos will also be promoted on Ottawa Tourism’s Facebook and  Instagram channels
