blackiron was awarded the opportunity to provide graphic design, copywriting and web development services for Ottawa Tourism and the City of Ottawa’s Canada in One City website. Since 2017, the City of Ottawa and Ottawa Tourism have collaborated to define Ottawa as a great place to live, work, play, invest, study and visit. blackiron was challenged with creating a website that reflects both organizations and their common goal while also educating citizens, and the public and private sectors, on Ottawa’s evolving branding strategy. 
In just a few short weeks, the blackiron team developed a design that included diverse elements such as video, a downloadable toolkit, a photo contest and an exploration of Ottawa’s Brand DNA Themes. blackiron was thrilled to take part in the launch of Ottawa’s new branding strategy, and the team looks forward to partnering with Ottawa Tourism and the City of Ottawa in future endeavours.
