blackiron helps Ottawa Senators Foundation launch new Online 50/50 draw.

As the first charitable organization in Ontario to launch online 50/50 sales, the Ottawa Senators Foundation hired blackiron to ensure the program launch was thoughtfully planned and executed. Through the development of an in-depth marketing and communications strategy, blackiron created the footprint to reach the online 50/50 target audience with the right message.

blackiron was also involved in creating the messaging and graphic design of the launch campaign for social media and digital advertising. These ads portrayed how purchasing a 50/50 ticket online is a win – win for both Ottawa Youth and the 50/50 winner.

The Ottawa Senators Foundation invests in social recreation and education programs that promote both physical and mental wellness which empowers children and youth to reach their full potential. To date, the Foundation has contributed more than $105 million to initiatives and charities in Ottawa. During the 2018-19 Ottawa Senators hockey season, the Foundation will provide more than $1 million in support to more than 50 charitable organizations in the National Capital Region.
